Death of Mrs. Ellen Costello

Succumbs to Heart Attack

Mrs. Ellen Costello Dies suddenly at her home. Mrs. Ellen Costello of 67 River Street, widow of Bartley Costello and a resident of Rutland practically all of her life, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at her home of heart failure.  She had been ill since Tuesday but was able to be about the house and her death was entirely unexpected.

Mrs. Costello was born in Ireland about 75 years ago.  She was the mother of nine children, seven of whom survive her. They are George M., Charles B., Bartley J. and Miss Julia E. Costello of this city, Joseph F. of Albany, NY, Mrs. T. J. Dormady of Troy, N.Y., and Mrs. E. W. Jones of Montreal.  She also leaves 14 grandchildren.  Mrs. Costello was a member of St. Peter's Church, where the funeral will be held Wed. morning at 9 o'clock.
