John Lanahan Death Rutland Daily Herald 2-25-1902

The body of John Lanahan, who died at New York city Sunday morning as a result of a fall from a coach Saturday afternoon, was brought to this city on the 7:55 o'clock train last evening and taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Lanahan, at No. 26 Meadow street.  The body was accompanied by the dead man's brother Patrick Jr. and brother-in-law George Stone of this city, and another brother Joseph E., and William Wilkinson of Hartford, Ct.  The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.  The burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
