Malachie J. Hogan died at his home at No. 17 Evergreen Avenue about 6:20 o'clock yesterday morning after a six days sickness with pneumonia.  Mr. Hogan was born in Ireland about 55 years ago.  He came to this country when he was 18 years of age and located in Center Rutland, where he had lived until about a month ago, when he moved to Evergreen Avenue.  He was a marble sawyer by trade and worked for the Vermont Marble Company for about 28 years.  Mr. Hogan is survived by his wife and one son John Hogan of this city.  The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.

The funeral of Malachie Hogan, who died Friday at his home at # 17 Evergreen Avenue, was held at St. Peter's church yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. John B. McGarry officiating.  M. J. Clifford and Mrs. D. A. Cocklin assisted with the music.  The bearers were Pat'k Kanaly, Thomas Mangan, William Clifford, John H. Purcell, J. E. Dervin and Martin McGarry.  The burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Among those from out of town who attended the funeral  were Michael Gooley and daughter Katherine of Wauregan, Ct., and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Dwyer and daughter Margaret of Woonsocket, R. I.
